Psychotherapy
I believe you have the wisdom and knowings that are the keys to unlocking doors
to your happiness, growth, and creativity. When we meet for therapy it is important you and I have a trusting and safe connection. Together we can uncover the deeper
emotional truths underlying the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that no longer serve
you. Just awareness of the deeper truth and inherent logic of a pattern opens the door to transforming it, dissolving it, and creating more effective, even joyful ways of being.
Couples Counseling
If you argue too much, feel disconnected and lonely, or avoid talking about what is
bothering you, I will help you listen with empathy and speak openly so that
you can mend the hurts and have the loving, supportive, connection you yearn for.
By slowing down your interactions and noticing more of what actually happens in the painful
dance you sometimes do, you can change that dance and expressing and experiencing
the deeper, tender feelings you have for each other.
Trauma, PTSD, Fears, Nightmares, Worries, Stress
Trauma or childhood abuse or neglect can leave you unable to trust or feel safe,
chronically feeling that something terrible is about to happen. Using EMDR, Coherence Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, and other mindful, somatic methods, you can find relief
and a more calm, joyful life.
Low Self-Worth, Depression, Procrastination
"I am not good enough"
Our brains want, need, to make meaning of what we see and experience. As children we often make sense of our experiences with erroneous meanings and interpretations that create obstacles to living our best lives. We can discern the meanings, default patterns you gathered that aren’t working, may even harm you and your relationships, discard them and build in more useful meanings that open up new ways of living your life. You can access more of your true self, have experiences that dissolve notions like "I am not good enough". You can find effective practices that support you to find clarity, get back on track when you become derailed thereby refocusing on creating the life you want for yourself.
Transitions, Loss, Grief
We all must navigate hardships that come our way and it’s possible to use challenging,
painful times to gain wisdom, to develop practices or strategies that enrich and
empower us. Somatic, mindful, therapy is a powerful way to access and build on internal and
external resources to use during hard times.
Groups
Dream Tending Circles
An experiential Dreamwork experience for therapists and other dream tenders. We will gather, invoke a numinous, centered space in which to share our dreams. Engaging with dream images, characters, and stories their embedded treasures emerge. Playing with dreams in the company of others is a wonderful way to awaken your creativity, wisdom, connecting with ourselves and each other.
